THE MULTIDISCIPLINARY TEAM (MDT) APPROACH

In HCC management, the MDT approach is increasingly recognized as a cornerstone of effective care.1 Current practice guidelines, such as the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology (NCCN Guidelines) and AASLD, strongly recommend MDT diagnosis and management for patients with HCC, highlighting the value of collaborative expertise.2,3
